That album is great too. "Crash & burn to live again, Up from the ashes I rise.."
Don sang good back then aswell, Mikkey Dee & Peter Baltes on drums and bass, good times :)
Originally, that song appeared on John's second solo album, "Face the truth". It featured Glenn Hughes on vocals. He also sang on some more tunes on that album including the Phenomena-cover "Still the night". John also covered Thin Lizzy-classic "Opium Trails" but my fav is the title track with...
"Rainbow in the rose" & the title track from "In the heart of the young" was what hooked me on to 'em. Modern Drummer magazine had a giveaway together with Premier, Sabian & Voelker racks back then and I wanted to win Rod's kit so bad (played the drums back then).
As far as Reb go, I think he...
I tend to break the B & e strings when I'm streching them. So when I change strings, I have to have at least one spare of each string. Sucks bigtime. And it gets expensive in the long run. On all of my guitars. As for breaking while playing, don't think it has happened to me since my beginner years.
F**k shred! You always, ALWAYS stir up GAS. The white single HB LP, the white 4x12 and now THIS!!!! Awesome geetar man! Keep 'em comin'.

Alex Lifeson & Rush has NEVER been a part of that genre. Dimebag was a part of it for a short period before they made it with Pantera. And his whole sound was based on a fr.
In your opinion that is. My favourites come from a 2205 or a Silver Jub.
I love floyds and I'll have one in my new superstrat. I've never had a pair of spandex nor hav I had leather-pants. But I grew up with and love the "big hair"-genre. I mean, what's not to like? Musicians that acutally...
Ordered a new guitar yesterday. Or, the base for a guitar at least, reversed strat headstock, scalloped rosewood fretboard, red-finished quilt maple top, routed for a recessed floyd and for HB's.
I will fit a loaded white pearl Dragonfire pickguard (H/S) and black hardware on it. I'll probably...
Oiled for sure. On my guitars with painted necks, I have either sanded the finish of and oiled them or matted the paint down a bit with a scotch-brite (and that's just because I've been to lazy to sand it of)
