    It’s a hybrid. Got a 12AX7 tube in the pre amp and solid state after that. 2 channels.

    Just unboxed the Valvestate 2000 AVT 50!! GC didn’t lie when the listed it as excellent condition. Not a scratch or scuff on it!! Looked up the sn and it’s a 2002. I’ll see how it sounds later tonight.

    Here’s my other question. Looking at used Marshall amps and GC the valvestate 2000 AVT 20 and VS65R are within $40 of each other. Which one is the better value. The avt50 are $239. So right now that’s not happening. I can’t get the sound I’m looking for out of the Crate 30 I have now.
