    Yeah! WHAT HE SAID!!!

Yep you hit that one good. Part of the reason a lot of bands sound terrible is also because most bands either can't/won't pay a good sound person and/or are using a crap PA system and figure it sounds good enough if there's no feedback. What they don't realize is just because those powered mains...

    Yeah! WHAT HE SAID!!!

Yeah you really nailed it about the band drama crap. Still perplexes me to this day too. One guy up and quit the band when he found out what my political leaning was! We always got along before that. My wife has been in several bands with me (in one with me right now) and she is far less patient...

Whole band revolves around drummers schedule..

Yep both are in very short supply. Matter of fact I have considered picking up bass guitar again. I used to do some bass gigs about 20 years ago for extra money.

Whole band revolves around drummers schedule..

Oh we already know why. He's in 6 bands. My conundrum is I agreed to "deal with it" in order to work with the guy and now it's getting hard to "deal with it".

Whole band revolves around drummers schedule..

Yeah he's in like 6 bands. I thought I was bad being in 3 but the other 2 I am in do hardly anything.

Whole band revolves around drummers schedule..

Well yes and no. I make enough from gigs to pay bills but I don't rely on gig money.

Whole band revolves around drummers schedule..

LOL. This guy we have here is as straight edge as it gets. I mean if he has a any vice at all he hides it pretty good.

Whole band revolves around drummers schedule..

The problem was the 2 different subs we tried who were highly recommended couldn't cut the mustard.

Whole band revolves around drummers schedule..

Yeah I know I didn't mention it in my post but I have tried that twice and it didnt go well. I have used subs many times in the past but it didnt work for this project.

Whole band revolves around drummers schedule..

One of the bands I am in has a drummer that is so busy we have to schedule any types of gigs or rehearsals around his availability. I like the dude, he's a great drummer and the band is probably the best band I have been in as far as tightness and song selection. Also where I live, drummers...

    Joyo vintage phase footswitch

I have one and love it except it's a bit noisy. No latency for me either. Instant on.

    Pups for schecter

I put a set of Seymour Duncan Invaders in my Omen Extreme FR and not regretting it one bit. A gigantic upgrade over the stockies. Fat and chunky with tons of punch. The coil split sounds great on the bridge pup. Very acoustic like, almost a piezo type sound. My C-1 Hybrid has the active 57/66...

    Define bedroom amp.

Peavey Vypyr 75. Two great channels (out of like 8) and has enough oomph to sound good at low volumes.

    Yeah! WHAT HE SAID!!!

I have been gigging(working professionally) for 30+years and running sound for 20. If you aren't doing big outdoor events, are a National touring act, or opening for one in a big venue then you will be expected to keep the volumes down per the venue owners requests. Some places let you crank up...

    Keeping guitar in hotel room

I'm right there with you. I have had so much music gear stolen that I am ultra paranoid about it now. I used to travel a lot for work (3 weeks out of the month) and I never brought a guitar and it sucked, but it is what it is I guess.

Ever have a particular sound that almost forces you to change?

That's what I'm getting at. Totally changed my style because of the tones and I liked it.

Ever have a particular sound that almost forces you to change?

Yeah I was eyeballing this Gretsch for like 600 bucks. Also some company named Wolf/AIO sell one for like 400 that looks pretty sweet. https://www.allinoneguitars.com/product-page/aio-wolf-ksa50-left-handed-electric-guitar-dark-blue-b-stock

Ever have a particular sound that almost forces you to change?

335 is on my list. I may go with something cheaper first cos I have never had a hollow body electric so not sure I will dig it. I have to go mail order cos there are next to no lefties in the shops out here.
