Hurry, contact everyone - the sky is falling!!!! Seriously though, I'm pretty sure Paypal would cover it if something weird took place. But maybe find out from the seller first what's going on..?
That's gonna make a sweet guitar when it's finished. On the pickups, I just a put used Seymour Duncan Alnico Pro 2 in my Epi SG's bridge position. Sounds pretty good to me..
If you really hammer the strings with the way you pick there's gonna be some fret buzz regardless. I would take it to tech though from here on out and get their opinion. Probably wont cost anything for someone to take a look.
I have the action pretty low on my 2 Teles and they do get some buzz...
Well cool, sounds like you'll see a good profit on that little bass, and i'm sure someone will be happy to have found it. I agree about the older ones feeling different, the 6 string version I played was around the same year, and it had a different feel than anything newer. Not saying it was...

I dont gig though, and if you're in a cover...

I just bought a Lead 12 & a Reverb 12 recently. Really love the sound of these amps, true Marshall overdrive and really nice cleans too to my ears. I'm also debating changing out the speakers, still deciding on what to get though.
Hi everyone, I recently purchased an old 80's Reverb 12 which I really love. It has some nice cleans and the overdrive is killer. And even though it sounds great as is, I'm still thinking of maybe replacing it's stock 10" Celestion speaker w/something better.
So I was hoping to get some...
