Help - Question - Options For Wiring A Hss Strat

Use the Suhr Hybrid Wiring Scheme. All my guitars use it. There's also a small mod that Suhr call the Scot Henderson tone mod whereby the tone pots are removed from the circuit in positions 2&4. I have that on one of my guitars. I also prefer a 0.015 cap on the humbucker, turned down is instant...

Another Volume Pedal "tone Suck" Thread

I have the Lehle volume pedal and it is the best I've ever owned, absolutely zero tone loss. Funny thing is that despite Lehle saying it can be placed anywhere in the chain, it hated being at the end of my pedalboard. It's now 3rd after my comp and tuner and works perfectly.

    New Prs "paul's Guitar"

I don't see anything special about the "3rd gen trem" Other than grooves for the saddles what's the difference ? Those grooves are pointless because the original design addressed the issue of lateral saddle movement with the side wall. Not criticising the op's guitar, its truly stunning and the...

Prs Swampash. Can't Adjust String Action...

It would also be helpful to know if you want the action higher or lower. The PRS trem is one of the best designs ever and easy to adjust.

    Marshall Mpm4e Mods.

Maybe mine is the JMP-1 and the other is the JMP1 ? In which case I'm the one at fault.

    Marshall Mpm4e Mods.

The JMP1 has very easy to use midi mapping and has controlled everything I've placed in the loop perfectly ( currently a Digitech GSP1101 for its brilliant Lexicon reverbs and delays ). No issues there. I currently use a midi controller but I also need to run a power supply to it and that's what...

    Marshall Mpm4e Mods.

Hi folks I've owned and gigged my JMP1 for about 20 yrs and I've finally decided to buy the dedicated footswitch. The problem is that the cable is permanently attached , making it impossible to mount on my pedalboard, and much harder to plug into the back of my rack at a gig. Does anyone know of...

    Pups Suggestions

I'd also use Suhr's HSH wiring scheme. Absolutely brilliant. Drop them an email and they'll send the diagram if Google doesn't help.

    Pups Suggestions

Noiseless singles never work for me, there is always something missing besides the noise. I'd suggest a Duncan SSL2 RWRP in the middle. It'll work brilliantly with the split humbuckers in positions 2&4 and the flat poles keep it out of the way of your picking hand. I don't like the Jazz neck so...

    Seymour Duncan Zephyr Pickups

They're simply an experiment to see if there's a way to create a buzz in the industry beyond regular materials. They don't sound much different to a similar output pickup except they're very HiFi sounding. Duncan have been saying forever that Butyrate Bobbins , wood spacers , blah blah blah ...

    Gary Moore

Of that I have no doubt but apparently the arguments were over Gary's insistence to rehearse at full volume and then complain that he'd hurt his hearing. Lol

    Gary Moore

He was known for being a stroppy git, Ginger Baker called him the Pampered Pompadour of Rock and hated him. I never liked his blues era playing but to this day some of my favourite solos are Gary's. He was untouched when it came to lyrical playing when he was in the mood. Huge loss to the music...
