how do you like the Zakk wah?
I had one a while back (scored for $15 brand new in a consignment shop) but I thought it made everything sound too much like Zakk w/ my setup & style.

Dude I love it. I left off my other Wah. I have a Vox standard wah for 60's stuff.

It's got a great wide sweep if you like that. LOT'S of growl in the half way position. It's not so much a Zakk thing, the day I demoed it I also tried a Vox handwired, Hendrix Wah and an old ass Clyde McCoy.

The Zakk won hands down. If I had to sum it up in one word? Aggressive.

I tried using an old Phase 100 in there but I found I wasn't all that impressed so it's on eBay right now.

I run everything into my modified 4210 with a Classic Lead and sometimes a 2x12 with Vintage 30s.

Well, ahmmm, I don't wanna gloat or boast or anything, but:
Bad Monkey out front clean boost only
Boss DD3 Delay in loop
Digitech Digiverb Reverb in loop
then depending on my mood/what I'm hearing/humidity f'ing with tone
Boss GE-7 EQ in loop
and adding an EVH Phase 90 just snagged from StringJunkie in the mix when it arrives.
Now don't rush out and copy my signal chain boys and girls because only an incompetent non-professional guitar hack can handle this squirrelly mix of tone sucking goodness.

Rarely use them anymore, but I am about to try my Behringer Reverb in the loop of my new SLX. If that doesn't cut it, then I'll be looking for a decent reverb pedal.

I'm occasionally using my Xotic BB preamp again and I just ordered a Dunlop 535Q...never had a wah before. The best part is it was free from guitar center. I got a $170 eCert when I bought my Tele and that's what I used it for.

i just went thru a bit of a fiasco with my pedals. got them all sorted, and realized i had so much tone loss it was crazy and unacceptable. so i picked up a 6 channel bypass looper. problem solved. tone is back and better than it has been in a while.
