Yeah, it's tasty and light enough that I can knock back a few w/out feeling too full. Also love it when little pieces of lime mix in there. Man, I want a beer now (and some summer lol).

5.5% ABV is not high, that is average.

Less than .5% of the beer I drink is in a can. Not that I am trashing cans but most good beer is not in cans.

Duvel is actually 8.5, Kwak 8.4.

I believe you are correct with those ABV's but I think he was talking about little kings at the time of 5.5.

Oh man, sorry about that Mickey - I meant to reply that to Ricks post. I thought I had remembered that those beers were a bit higher in ABV - at least my liver and head felt that way the next day!

Where I live they sell high end craft beer in all the food stores but not in liquor stores. Hell, they even have craft beer taps flowing at the Sunoco stations now, wtf!!! Some of the beers get up to 10-11% but at that point they get to thick, rich and complex tasting for...dont care for them.

Try a Dogfish Head 90 or 120 min IPA...strong as hell!!!

I have been sticking with Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron. I like the Midas Touch. I have yet to try a 120 because the IBU is up at 120.
I may want to try the World Wide Stout. None of that stuff is cheap though.

On average, dollar for dollar, you are paying for ABV whether hard liquor, wine or brew. It is usually relative and like any thing else I look for deals and sales.

If you want some cheaper beer with high content look for this. It is better that the big three. Much better.
