Had a JCM 2000 50 watt for over 20 years- great sound on green chanbel crunch mode. Not long sold a JMP 2203 100 watt 😱😱😱😱 best amp I ever heard/played but JCM 2000 is a close contender.
Odyssey Number Five is a brilliant album - Waiting For The Sun and My Kind Of Scene are first class songs.
Seen them live in Scotland years ago - fantastic live act aswell.
Seen The Church here twice on their last 2 visits - waited almost 30 years to see them - worth the wait.
New additions. Sold a couple over the last couple years to make room for these. PRS custom22, PRS Zach Myers, Fender deluxe Shawbucker strat, Gretsch 6522, Precision bass and an Irish bouzouki.
nice one.great tune.Stuart Adamson was a brilliant songwriter.Sadly missed. Met him years ago in Dunfermline. Our bass player worked with Bruce Watson, knows him well. Had a few beers with them once. Was sat with Tony Butler- i was starstruck-totally gushing. He was very humble saying he was no...
Got it live on dvd somewhere.I'll try and dig it out and post it.
Nearly had a studio version done but i somehow scrubbed the lead vocals and never got back round to re-recording them again.:(
There's a version of Inwards by Big Country by us on youtube. GOODSON Inwards.
I thought their 1st LP...
Watched them all on youtube.Well impressed.great playing by all of you.Not the easiest of bands to cover. We used to cover Hanging Around (2 guitars no keyboards).
Both versions are superb.Theres a live version of Gotye/Kimbra doing this in the studio- f***ing awesome.
Walk off the Earth do a load of brilliant covers.Plenty on youtube.
Hey Bubba, have to agree with you.
JJ Burnel + Hugh Cornwell were a formidable partnership.
Never been as keen on the Stranglers since Cornwell left but i think Baz Warne does a good job.
John McGeoch and Robert Smith are very underrated too.
i also like Billy Duffys playing circa Love.
I'd keep the 2000. I've owned both (50 watt heads) and i think the 2000 is a far better sounding amp. i never really got on with the 900 series. Not saying its a bad amp-just wasn't for me.
Think about getting a 1x12 extension cab your amp.
