No.
I would only buy one of these if you plan to use it in a bedroom or recording(i wouldn't even do that, although i have seen bands do this).Never live IMO,you'll get destroyed if a real player is using a tube amp at high vol but it does depend on what genre your into.BB King used SS amps.
If...
What is it,you dont like about your current tubes?this will help others recommend some.If you dont know what you dont like about them ,just buy lots and roll them.
Are you after a particular sound?or do you just want the best tube on the planet, according to someone else?
I've had a few of...
posting just for being AWSOME! Someone must have put the major on the back?I didn't think these were majors?I thought these were just Marshall 200's?

When you get a plexi really hot,and really loud they can sound fizzy, but in a great way...
There is a very fine line between fizz, ice pick, tube harmonics and AWESOME! and i love it, more noise the better.
Made by economic slaves.Like most cheap **** is made by people who's ancestors didn't fight for their freedom, hence get screwed by others. Its just natures way.....
They are made in Vietnam.
I dont see the problem for Marshall really, seeing all Marshall's are paid for in advance otherwise they dont make them. And they're are so many gear geeks these days they would sell a few.
Personally i do agree, that unless your playing live,or live on a farm they would be overkill & shake the...
Nice amp.I agree with one of the above posts about the Astoria's,they sound great and you dont have play them at full vol.30 watts is REALLY loud and not just loud, its powerful, the windows will rattle.
That "fizz" is part of the beloved Marshall sound. Embrace the fizz! :D
about time! ....take this advice, all of it.Most people want a SS in my book, not me.
I have owned them all,and i prefer the MKIII's over them all. .I own one now.You need to play one(DR),some people love them, some hate them.
I like the DR's,but only with EL34's not the 5881's but others prefer them, the 5881's are smoother which you might like, but IMO the clean channel only...
Do you dislike the sound of the ones you have?what genre are you into?
If so, what is it you dislike about your amp tooonnneee?
Also, there is NO best tube(are you asking about reliability?),you either like the sound of the ones you have or you dont BUT if you just want to "tweak" it for the...
Yes,some musicians do mod but it had a purpose now its seems everyone does it and for no apparent reason other than to do it which is a "gear geek" or a "tweaker",just as it was for 40 years until the 2000's.There is nothing wrong with being a gear geek, just like in the 80's but there is a...
Why do you want to mod it if you cant fault it?are you gear geek(tweaker) or a musician?I dont mean that in a bad way but they are very different things people and positions.
"Good" Musicians dont usually **** things once they sound good, and a tweaker or gear geek will mod endlessly for no...
