    Wow. That's good know. I'm thinking even if there was an issue with the on-board reverb, I could just have it on a very low setting so that if it did come on the change wouldn't be noticeable. Thanks

    So I found a guy selling a Marshall DSL401C for a good price and he's stating the only thing wrong with it is that the reverb will sometimes turn on by itself. Anyone familiar with this issue and if so is this a DIY fix?

    JVM Bias question

    To be more accurate, is was 89mV when I checked it and it had the stock tubes. It's a Craigslist find. Amp is dated 2007. I think I'm either the 3rd or 4th owner. Don't know what, if anything, the previous owners did to it.

    So the issue was that when I slid the chassis back into the cabinet, a cluster of blue wire snagged on a protruding amp handle screw and unplugged the Molex connector to the Master volume. Issue resolved last night. Sounds fine at bedroom levels. I'll semi-crank it after work.

    It was a craigslist find. $50 and it had speakers in it.they all needed to be reconed so I just sold them for $40. After new grill cloth, new red tolex, logo, and speakers I could have bought a used working 1960a cab for the same price....but where's the fun in that?
