    Have you try a mod on v1 a 2k7 and the 680 nanofarat bypass capacitor, try 1k8 and 1uf bypass should have a bit more gain ,also the negative feedback resistor ,if it's a 100k you could change it to 56k and add a 100 pico ceramic capacitor parallel to it, then you can change the phase inverter...

    I think gibson did something like this in 2008 ,it has a 6 way rotated switch, to blend the pickups.
