I'm fine with my Ratrod I built but wouldn't mind one of these - Gretsch® Products
I had a '57 reissue Silver Jet back in the day but would love one of these guys - Gretsch® Products
I'm not sure if this exact model but I've always dreamed of slapping a Bigsby on a real Les Paul - Gibson...
When I bought my latest 4100, it came with freshly upgraded Mercury trannies and JJs. It definitely blew the doors off the one I already had with JJs but stock trannies. I actually got it cheaper than the one I already had so I sold the stock one and hung on to the upgraded one and made a few...
You have got to be kidding me...
I've had three 4100's and still have one to this day. I love the thing and will never let go of it. It has never let me down.
However, I primarily gig a TSL these days and I have A/B'ed the 4100 and TSL side by side. I know tone is subjective but your...
You have to keep in mind where these guys came from and what they could come up with to work with. A lot was on tight budgets, DIY and when indie labels were truly independent pinching pennies to stay alive.
Yes, 800s were desired when things got successful enough to afford them. Often...
One thing to look out for on the current SM57s and 58s is that they moved production a while back and are not what they were. Pick up one of your old SM57s and a new one and you've feel the weight difference. The new ones are just not very rugged at all anymore. I don't know if there is a big...
First, we have to put our love of the brand aside a little and think with a little business sense. A company's goal is profit and to make that profit, the company must build a product that consumers want to buy. The company must build a product that has value and quality to achieve brand...
I'm 47
Been playing since I was 10 and probably still suck to some but I don't give a shit.
I don't shred. I run a Bigsby so I couldn't dive-bomb if I tried.
Some alternate tuning can sound sweet within reason but its not for me.
I HATE rap but do love some early country, more...
I've tried about every echo pedal known to man and none held up to an old Echoplex or Space Echo. I never tried a Wampler though. Anyway, got tired of the Echoplex taking a dump on me at gig time and got a TTE this year.
Sorry man, but... A 289 is a Ford. 265, 283, 327, 350 and 400s are small blocks. 348, 396, 454 and 502s are big blocks. I think a stroked 348 is a 427 Rat but I could be wrong. The 348 and 427 are a different configuration than the regular big blocks though. Oh, and a 383 is a stroked 350...
You're not going to find a Martin or a Gibson or anything US for that kind of money but look out for the Seagull guitars. They are very good quality and made in Canada but not very expensive.
There is NO such thing as an easy drummer. They are all a pain in the ass. ;)
Q. Why did the drummer put his sticks on the car dashboard?
A. So he can park in the handicap parking spot.
Q. What does a drummer use for birth control?
A. His personality.
Are you really interested in info or is this a test?
The first pic with the S/N# 00573N is clearly not the same amp as the batch of following pics. I'm confused, completely as to what you are looking for...
I don't know where you're talking but 4100s go for $600-$700 around my parts. 1960A and Bs go for $250-400. So, the head and cab for $600 is a smoking deal.
I paid $600 for a 4100 about 6 months ago and I recently picked up a TSL100 for $700. I recently noticed DSLs and TSLs going for...
