I figured I'd update you guys...I just picked it up this morning off the guy. Holy smokes!! Best $900 I've ever spent!! (My wife might not agree hehe). I'm playing it through some V30s and it sounds great!!
I was thinking about that...the FX loop would be great to have that's for sure. Do you think it's not going to retain its value with the extra holes that have been drilled?
Hey all! It's definitely been a while since I've been on here...anyways, I've located an 800 2204 with vertical input jacks on c-list. Apparently it had an effects loop at one point and the seller says he had a confident tech remove it and put it back to stock. Obviously the holes are still in...
I couldn't agree more!!! I did this with my 1960a cab and it sounds just perfect (to me atleast ) :dude:
When I bought the cab, the 75's lasted like 2 weeks...I couldn't stand them
I'd definitely like to see what would happen with Lee drumming. His drumming on the newest Crue album (Saint's of Los Angeles) was friggen great! It would definitely be an interesting mix. I say crank it up!
Are you saying the JMP is about the same asking price as the 900?? This can't be right...either he's asking way too much for the 900 or you could get a steal on the JMP
It's definitely a really cool program. For a while i was playing around with EZdrummer and the drum-kit from Hell add-on...very cool with a ton of beats. I'd recommend it if you want more versatility and/or heavier drum tracks
Very good deal PM006!! And I'm glad to hear you're playing more and more!!! I remember reading about your condition in your classifieds ad and thought that that would really suck :( Tear it up with that DSL!
I'm with Ken...start out small and you might find the issue before you have to spend big $$
Oh, and hats off you for your video demonstration. Very cool
Have you tried a 2x12? I think a 4x12 cab would be much better and way less noticeable...but yeah, I didn't like it in the 212 cab. Just my two cents :h5:
