You can get a Griffin cable at an Apple store. The i-plug or whatever it's called has been out for years. Assuming you've got a computer or tablet or iPhone to plug the guitar into, then you don't need the onboard electronics. And a pocket Pod will have not only amp modeling but effects, which is a lot more than just a headphone jack on the guitar.

And besides, what if you're in a Tele mood today?
